About the Facility:

McMains Children's Developmental Center, a well-established nonprofit outpatient pediatric therapy facility in Baton Rouge since 1954, is looking for a speech-language pathologist.  This family-centered clinic uses a multidisciplinary approach with PT, OT, ST, and educational therapy, and also has social workers, a psychologist, and consulting doctors.  There are many opportunities for community outreach, including inclusive arts camp, adaptive biking/canoeing events, and holiday fairs. McMains Children’s Developmental Center is an equal opportunity employer.

McMains Children's Developmental Center, a nonprofit outpatient pediatric therapy facility, is seeking a licensed speech therapist to work full-time as part of a well-knit multidisciplinary team. A candidate with CCC’s is preferred; however, a CFY candidate will be considered. Competitive salary and benefits based on experience.

Speech therapy at McMains includes a variety of areas and diagnoses including articulation, language, AAC, oral motor, fluency, and voice.  Client caseload ranges from 0 to 18 years including children with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, developmental delays, autism, language delays, apraxia, and other syndromes.  McMains is a teaching facility and supervises SLP graduate interns.
