Janet Ketcham, Executive Director for the McMains Childrens Developmental Center recently received the John W. Barton, Sr. Excellence in Nonprofit Management Award from the Baton Rouge Area Foundation during their Annual Meeting.
This award recognizes individuals for their excellence of service to the charitable, nonprofit sector in the Baton Rouge area. The recipient must be an outstanding and dedicated chief executive in the nonprofit community, demonstrate exemplary nonprofit leadership over time, and provide leadership that has led to significant accomplishments and made a substantial impact on the Baton Rouge area.
For over 30 years, Janet has dedicated her time, love, and expertise to improving the lives of children with disabilities. She leads the Center with a progressive and intense force and works together with the Baton Rouge community to get long-dreamed projects accomplished. Janet is certainly deserving to be honored as someone who demonstrates outstanding dedication in the nonprofit community.
