Inner City Nutcracker | 1/30/2006, back
Through collaboration between the Mid City Dance Project, LSU School of Social Work, and McMains Children's Developmental Center, free dance classes were offered at the Center from September through the beginning of December. The classes prepared the children to perform in the Inner City Nutcracker on December, 8, 9, and 10 at BREC Independence Park Theatre. This annual production is designed to give inner city and special needs children an opportunity to perform with volunteer dancers in the Baton Rouge area and well-known guest artists.
We would like to thank Mid City Dance Project and LSU School of Social Work for making this special opportunity available to McMains Center children!
