On Thursday, September 17th, McMains Children's Developmental Center hosted its 6th annual Developing Dreams Breakfast at Boudreaux's from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The Breakfast featured D.J. Gregory as the keynote speaker. Mr. Gregory, born with cerebral palsy, fulfilled his dream by walking every tournament, every round and every hole of the 2008 PGA tour, a feat that totaled over 900 miles! It was a wonderful celebration of over 50 years serving children, a time to raise awareness about children with disabilities, and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the Center. We also showcased our 2009 Center video, highlighting our programs and children from the Center. After five years of successive budget cuts, the success of this years breakfast is vital to the Center. We hope that you will consider helping us by sponsoring future events or by becoming a table captain.
